AI ethics is the study of how to ensure that the development and use of AI will respect and protect human autonomy, rights, and freedom.

There are many different ethical issues that come with AI. These include privacy, safety, bias, transparency, and accountability, and more.

All senior professionals and leaders of tomorrow will be soon expected to have a good understanding ethical considerations around the use of AI.

About the instructor:

Samah Rafiq is a Teaching Fellow at SOAS, University of London. She has submitted her PhD
thesis in international politics to Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. She was a PreDoctoral Visiting
Fellow at Yale University, USA (2019-22). Her research interests include the implications of
algorithms, biometrics and AI adoption in border control in the past decades.
